John is a 2003 graduate from the industrial design program at the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. There, he obtained numerous awards including "Runner Up" for his thesis project at the 2003 Rocket Grad show in the furniture and environments category. He has worked intermittently with Kangaroo Design Inc. since 2006 on numerous high tech medical products. Throughout John's career he has gained design and project management experience in various fields from graphic design, industrial design and manufacturing. He has also gained valuable experience in architecture and was involved in many complex high profile projects across North America.
When not consumed by design, John enjoys the outdoors by staying active and partaking in a variety of sports including ice hockey, golf and tennis. He also enjoys abstract painting, creative writing and relishes any opportunity he has to travel to other parts of the world and learn about other cultures.
