The group plays an important role in the med-tech community in Toronto and GTA offering strategic innovation consulting and end-to-end product development services specializing in medical devices and high-tech systems. The company is involved with the evolution of state of the art medical and diagnostic technologies and devices such as; field-deployed Ventilation and life support, Intraoperative MRIs, Point of Care Medicine, Anesthesiology, Ischemic Preconditioning, Remote Medicine, MR head-coils, Robotic Surgery, and a variety of OR devices and diagnostic instruments.
Kangaroo excels in the start-up universe and early stage venture, as well as providing a turn-key outsourcing platform to later-stage companies for specialized projects, product definition, technology research and creative problem solving. In addition to founding and leading Kangaroo, Lahav is also the co-founder of a number of technology startups (BeFocused Inc., Inventions That Matter Inc., CertoLabs Inc.,) where he holds a lead management role. Lahav is also a dedicated educator and coach. He consults for several companies on innovation, product development processes and design leadership development. For more than 25 years he has been an ambassador for Industrial design and innovation practices as strategic business assets. Lahav lectures at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem Israel, in the Masters program, where he teaches and conducts workshops on topics such as Design and Strategy, Values based leadership, Design Management, and Technology Entrepreneurship. .
