After graduating with honors from the Carleton University School of Industrial Design in 2006, Randy has worked on a diverse set of projects in the hardware industry, consumer products, furniture and graphic design. He has a wealth of knowledge in plastic part design and has worked with various manufacturers both local and overseas to produce highly efficient and cost effective designs. He is also very concerned about the product life cycle, and is determined to reduce product impact on the environment through conscious designs of the product, its parts and packaging.
As an industrial designer, his passion lies in fulfilling the needs of form, function, and production for every product. He believes that if a product deserves to exist, all three of these factors need to be seen on an equal plane and attention be paid to the details that bridge them together.
Randy has a diverse cultural background and finds inspiration in his travels through Asia, North America, and Europe. When he's not designing, he finds interest in basketball, music, urban art and architecture, and sneakers.
