Shayta began her passage to design after earning a degree in Industrial Design at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.Her passion for medical product design during these years led her to explore the integration of sensor technology in walkers for the elderly, resulting in her team to present their graduating thesis project, Smart Rollator, at the annual Ontario Centers of Excellence Discovery Show.
After joining Kangaroo Design in September 2009, she has contributed to the design department on a board spectrum of projects. She enjoys working collaboratively with inspiring individuals at Kangaroo to conceptualize and materialize meaningful products. With a constant thirst for knowledge on social and technological trends, she enjoys tinkering with electronics and pushing the limits to sleek design.
